Patrick Ryan

FCJ Sisters, staff, students and the wider FCJ community are deeply saddened by the loss of Patrick Ryan, our esteemed colleague, teacher and friend.

Patrick was a former student of FCJ College, Benalla and his family are well known in the district. In the short time that he has been with us as a member of our staff, he has firmly established himself as a much loved and respected member of our school community.

We have created a special page for tributes to Patrick, there is a link available on this page for you to send us your own tributes which we will then post online.

Please follow the link below to access this page.

FCJ College

Selecting a secondary school for your child is a very important decision. Thank you for considering FCJ College Benalla. FCJ College has a proud tradition of providing Catholic Education in Benalla for the past 100 years. Our Vision Statement continues to embody our commitment to Catholic Education and Gospel values. We are proud of the personal attention and pastoral care that we are able to offer our students within our small school community. We wish to maintain the benefits of small classes and more personalized attention at the VCE level and so will cap future enrolments at 450. Student enrolments are currently at approximately 395.

One of the greatest strengths of our school is our staff and their commitment to our students. We strive to meet the challenges and needs of our community through the introduction of VET Certificates in Information Technology and Equine Studies at year 9 and 10, New Apprenticeships, CTE (Certificate in Transition Education) and VCAL (Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning). We have a strong relationship with the Jobs Pathways Program officer, who works with students who are thinking of entering the workforce prior to their VCE years.

You can book a school tour at any time by contacting the College Office on 5762 1222.

We look forward to meeting with you in the near future.
